Moustaches have always been a symbol of masculinity, and for centuries men have worn them to emphasize their masculinity and might. The legend about haiduk Mijat Tomić is still alive, and he is still a synonym for manhood and courage.

In honour of him, on the occasion of the month of Movember, we, in the Mijat᾽s Republic, have decided to support those wearing moustaches with free cakes and  encourage everyone else be a man in the true sense of the word and take full responsibility for their health and the future of their family.
